Value- What details in a composition tell its story - where does the viewer find value in images and sound? Awe - What experiences inspire awe in the artist? Does our experience of awe translate to the viewer? Punctum - What are the details in the picture capable of affecting the viewer in a personal capacity? Where does the viewer linger? We recorded viewings of 40 artist compositions and used a camera from Eye Response Inc. to record the viewer's actual response to our work. The results reveal how differently art is percieved by each viewer.
